Tournament action this weekend



Most people get excited as the clock ticks round on a Friday afternoon and the weekend begins to get closer and closer.

This weekend though, there are even more reasons to get excited as PKR is offering up schedule jam packed full of tournaments.

It all kicks off this evening with the Primetime Deep Stack offering players a guaranteed $25,000 prize pool. The action will get underway at 19.15GMT when all players will be given a 10,000 chip stack and have to deal with 15 minute blind levels – the excitement should be evident from the beginning.

Satellites have been running all week and are now closed, so players wanting to get involved will need to pay the $150 buy-in.

With the Deep Stack out of the way, you’ll need to cancel your Saturday night plans as it’s the last Saturday of the month and that can only mean one thing: The PKR Masters … and this time there’s $100,000 being put on the line. Start time is 20.00GMT with all action being broadcast to 100 million homes on PKR TV.

Satellites will be ending shortly, so if you can’t stomach up the $250 buy-in to the final table, head over to www.pkr.com sharpish and get yourself in the running for as little as $1.

The fun doesn’t stop there though – Sunday’s brimming with even more tourneys. There’s the $20,000 Open (starting at 18.00 GMT), the $25k Primetime Special (19.15 GMT) and the $10,000 Premium Freeroll.

Qualifiers are still running for both The Open and the Primetime Special, and regular players can buy into the Freeroll with their PKR points.
