PKR Bounty Day is here!



News has just reached us that this Sunday is going to be Bounty Day over at PKR – and it sounds like it’s definitely going to be worth checking out.

All the action is going to get underway at 11.15 GMT on Sunday when players will be given the opportunity to eliminate some of PKR’s best players and pick themselves up over $2,000 in the process. Fifteen tournaments are going to contain 50 bounties made up of some of Team PKR as well as a number of staff members.

All bounty players should be easy to spot as they’ll have a username which begins with ‘PKR_’ so if you manage to knock any of them out of the tournament, then you’ll instantly win a cash prize worth twice your buy-in for that event.

If you take down two bounties, you’ll be given an extra $50 while eliminating three bounties will give you an additional $200 (on top of the $50).

PKR have gone a little further too, which is a nice touch. Even if you don’t manage to knock out a bounty player yourself, you could still find yourself in the money. All players who happen to be at a particular table when a bounty player is eliminated will be automatically entered into a special freeroll where the prize pool will be generated from all the PKR bounty winnings made during the day. PKR have guaranteed that a minimum of $1,000 will be up for grabs, but this could grow to a whole lot more than that if Team PKR show what they’re worth at the table.
