August Player of the Month Awards



Another month coming to an end can only mean one thing – PKR Player awards and this time the rankings are dominated by French players who are making quite an impression in the online tournaments.

However, they weren’t able to replace one of the most consistent players on the PKR site.

3rd Place:

User name: JASBiH
Monthly winnings: $13,007
Hailing from Montpellier, HASBiH has previously held the Open and the Grand Prix championships. This month he has placed 3rd and 1st in the Big Shot before coming 2nd and 3rd in the $3.5k Deep Stack which has become so popular amongst the tourney regulars.

JASBiH will pick up a PKR hoodie for his performance throghout August.

2nd Place:

User name: ruffidevil
Monthly winnings: $9,071
Another Frenchman who has shown no shortage of flair this month is ruffidevil who was a finalist in the July Masters and is the only player to claim three major wins in August. The prize for the Omaha Showdown was followed by wins in the Daily $17k and the $3.5k Deep Stack.

Another PKR hoodie will be winging its way to France.

Monthly winnings: $21,837
There was only ever going to be one winner. Walsall resident studaholic has remained unopposed at the top of the rankings for quite some time. It’s not hard to see why either. Ten major final tables and 77 cashes were achieved in August alone. Wins in the Primetime Rebuy ($4,435) and the $3k Deep Stack ($1,702) were were backed up by second place finishes in the Open and Omaha Showdown.

The Brit also managed to pick up a $1,700 PKR Live III package to top off a great month and he will soon be the proud owner of a PKR chipset and hoodie for his efforts.
